Meet The Team
Grace oversees every part of the day to day business at Lister’s Farm Shop, liaising with the farm and researching delicious Yorkshire produce to make sure the shop is well stocked at all times. When she’s not working, Grace enjoys clay pigeon shooting and shopping.
Kelly is our assistant manager, she helps with the day to day running of the shop, she has a keen eye for detail and is often the mastermind behind new shop displays. Kelly is also an outstanding baker and has been known to create some real showstopper cakes. Outside of work she enjoys baking and taking her two very mischievous dogs on walks.
Mandy is our longest serving member of staff, and is another fantastic baker; she also makes all our quiches and is always thinking up delicious new flavours. Mandy ensures our deli counter is bursting with mouthwatering pies and sausage rolls. Outside of work Mandy enjoys making cards and spending time with her family.
Lorraine does a lot of our baking in the shop, in particular our scones, which she bakes fresh each morning. Lorraine also makes our soups both for the café and to take home, which are proving very popular. Outside of work Lorraine enjoys baking and sewing.
Elaine works part time throughout the week – she is often found handing out delicious samples – whether it be gin or chocolate; Elaine could sell snow to an eskimo. Elaine is responsible for baking our Rice Krispie slabs, if you haven’t tried one yet you are missing out. Outside work Elaine joys gardening and walking her dog Ted.
Callum is our head butcher, he is in charge of ordering and preparing all the meat to fill the counter. He also cures our own bacon and ham. Outside of work he enjoys shooting and fishing, but doesn’t have much time for either of these at the moment since the arrival of his daughter a few months ago.
Our assistant butcher Danny is a keen and enthusiastic cook and responsible for our ever expanding range of value added products in the butchery department.
A father of two, Danny is also a keen fisherman.
Connor is our butchery apprentice; he is currently studying for his NVQ in Butchery at Leeds College. Connor is becoming a dab hand at making sausages. Outside of work Connor enjoys going to the gym and listening to music.
Tom and Nicole work both Saturdays and Sundays. Tom has just completed a course in Sports Science and Coaching and is looking to do a masters in research within skill acquisition. Nicole is currently preparing for her A levels. Hannah works each Saturday and is busy preparing to take her GCSEs.
